KINGDOM CHOICE AWARDS

Urban Gospel music and culture. Dedicated to honoring the authenticity of CHH and urban Kingdom culture, the KCA was founded in 2009 by Marcus Hall, CEO of Kingdom Time ENT. Since its inception, it has been a tremendous blessing to the Urban Christian community. Before the pandemic, the event was hosted at the Kumble Theater on Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus. In 2022, KCA organizers took a bold step of faith, relocating the event to Peter Norton’s Symphony Space on Broadway in New York City—a move that proved instrumental in elevating the KCA to new heights.
The KCA has honored Hip Hop legends and pioneers such as Mike Peace, Corey Red, Kurtis Blow, Gospel Gangstaz, Flame, Da Truth, The Ambassador, Richie Righteous, Pettidee, Canton Jones, Brinson, James ‘Trig’ Rosseau, Tre 9, Aziz Brimah, DJ Wade-O, K-Drama, Mahogany Jones and more. The event has seen some unforgettable performances by heavy hitters such as Andy Mineo, Social Club, Bizzle, Steven Malcolm, Miles Minnick, 1k Phew, Torey D’Shaun, Derek Minor, Canon, Mike Teezy, Anike, Scootie Wop, Brenno, Don Ready, Jor’Dan Armstrong, Angie Rose, Sherwin Gardner, Jered Sanders, Jarred Allstar, Swoope, Datin, The Menace Movement, Uncle Reece, Porsha love, Beleaf, Prince Saj and many others. The KCA is produced with a commitment to excellence, delivering a highly professional presentation that provides attendees with an authentic and prestigious award show experience.

Since 2022, the Kingdom Choice Awards has been hosted at Peter Norton Symphony Space in New York City. However, with potential venue renovations that may temporarily close Symphony Space, KCA organizers decided to move the event to a new location for 2026.
Since launching in 2009, the KCA has been held in Brooklyn and later Manhattan. Now, the event is heading to Queens, where it will take place at the iconic Queens Theatre.
The venue offers several advantages for attendees, especially those traveling from out of state. Located near both John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, the theater provides convenient access for travelers. In addition, the area offers plenty of free parking, making it an even more accessible and comfortable experience for guests.

2026 KCA Submission Information
To be eligible as a 2026 KCA nominee, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be saved, sanctified, and sealed with the Spirit.
- You must meet the criteria for the category/categories you are submitting for.
Submission Guidelines:
- All submissions must be sent to submissions@kingdomchoiceawardsnyc.com and include your name, contact information, and the category/categories you are submitting for.
- Non-recording artists (e.g., producers, radio personalities, etc.) must submit a bio and a website (if available).
- Recording/music artists must submit one song, album, or video, depending on the category/categories you are submitting for.
- Eligible materials must have been released between July 1st, 2025, and June 1st, 2026.
- The submission deadline is June 1, 2026.
Submission Process:
All submissions will be reviewed by the KCA committee, a panel of professionals with extensive experience and strong ties to the Christian Hip Hop and Urban Gospel communities. After a thorough evaluation process, the committee will select the official KCA nominees.
Performance Opportunities:
To request a performance slot for the KCA pre-show or main event, please email the KCA production team at kingdomchoiceawardsnyc@gmail.com. Performance opportunities are limited, and priority will be given to official nominees. You will receive confirmation of your submission within two weeks of it being received.

Nomination acceptance guidelines:
KCA Nomination Acceptance & Award Policy
If you accept a KCA nomination, you must inform us whether you will be attending the event. This is essential, as trophies are only ordered for nominees who confirm their attendance. Trophies will not be shipped to nominees who do not attend, unless nominee wishes to pay for trophy and shipping cost.
If you accept a KCA nomination and are selected as a winner, you are expected to receive your trophy when it is presented. Each award is custom-designed and engraved with the recipient’s name. If you are not comfortable receiving public recognition or awards of this nature, we kindly ask that you do not accept the nomination.
