New York (NY) – The 2016 KINGDOM CHOICE AWARDS nominees are officially in! The KCA committee had the grueling task of nominating this years nominees and a grueling task it was. Choosing nominees among the thousands of independent CHH and Urban Gospel artists is an extremely hard task. It is inevitable that some artists  who may be deserving of a nomination will fall through the cracks. However, what made the task a little easier for the KCA committee this year is the fact that they only had to choose independent artists.

KCA CEO, Marcus Hall made the decision to cut artists who were signed to majors from the nomination process. Hall said “I made the decision to cut artists who are signed to majors from the nomination process in order to help level the playing field a little more.
